Business Development Manager (2-year Contract) [Ref.: FU/BDM/22/03] ​ The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new income resources in Hong Kong market and exploring new markets for the agency. He/She has to develop and lead the launch of new products in these markets and conduct necessary analyses and surveys and assist the Unit Director in conducting various data analyses. ​ Responsibilities: ​ Develop feasible and practical new income resources in new markets/market segments based on concrete analyses and findings. Plan and lead on market researches for understanding the market potential, donor behavior and fundraising practices in the markets/market segments to be developed. Check relevant regulations on registration and fundraising in the new markets and develop feasibility studies on market entry to new market/market segments. Lead on the launch of the new products/markets/fundraising channels and coordinate with relevant teams in Hong Kong office. Perform analysis on the development of existing fundraising products/channels and provide recommendations for synergy and wider fundraising as well as branding impacts. Plan and lead on market research on agency image in Hong Kong and other markets. Support the Unit Director on Unit and OI matters especially on fundraising and branding issues. Participate and help in fundraising and agency events. Take on additional tasks and assignments as requested by the Unit Director. ​ Requirements: Degree holder in Sales and Marketing, Business Management or relevant disciplines. With at least 10 years’ relevant experience in fundraising, business development and marketing in which a minimum of 5 years in managerial grade. Proven work experience in interacting with senior executives and business leaders. Demonstrated creative and innovative thinking, high degree of initiative and commitment to income growth and goal attainments. Research skills and attention to details, sourcing information and statistics, assessing costs. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, and fluent Putonghua. Proficiency in MS office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
